TESTED by SuppCo: See the Lab Results Behind Every Verified Supplement

Steve & Nick here, co-founders of SuppCo, writing with your August product update.
It’s been two months since our last product update, where we told you about SuppCo’s acquisition by Function Health, and we’ve been incredibly hard at work ever since.
Acquisitions are exciting, and also require tremendous focus to execute well. Since May we’ve been getting to know the incredible Function team, and aligning our product visions on what to build for you, while doing some basic but important housekeeping.
We’re really looking forward to what comes next. In late August we’ll be sharing a huge project we’ve been working on for over a year. Every member of our team has poured their heart and soul into it, and it’s a big reason SuppCo joined the Function family.
In the meantime, we wanted to update you on the TESTED by SuppCo certification that launched in March, and the debut of our transparent test result modules.
As a reminder, the TESTED by SuppCo certification verifies the active ingredients and potency of supplements against their label claims. We anonymously purchase products directly from a brand’s website, the exact same way you would buy them.
Our user data shows that TESTED by SuppCo helps you make more confident buying decisions; we see a 35.4% increase in SuppCo users adding TESTED products to their stacks.
Brands like Momentous and Designs for Health chose to partner with SuppCo, knowing that our testing is independent and that obtaining the certification cannot be influenced. This week we just released the final piece of the puzzle, test result data that helps users see exactly how much of each ingredient is in their products.
Candidly, designing and building the data modules that would show our test results was complex and took a little longer than we expected. We’re thrilled by how these fresh new modules turned out; you can now find ISO 17025 lab results on the individual pages of all products SuppCo has tested. Here’s an example from Metagenics.
To make it easier to find TESTED by SuppCo certified products that meet our 95% active ingredient standard, we’re also proud to announce a new home page for the certification. It highlights recently certified products from new brands like Cymbiotika, DaVinci Laboratories, Swanson, CocoaVia and more. You can access it from your Products tab anytime.
